Tom Webster and his team opened their office on Meads Street in January 2017. For the previous fifteen years the company had been operating from their base, a converted farm in East Grinstead and made the decision to move to a High Street location with its increased footfall.
Tom, who lives in Seaford, knew Meads Street well and had often walked past number 52. Tom says: ‘I always liked the look of the shop and when it came on the market we jumped at it. Once we had moved in we were amazed at how busy the street is.’
‘It’s also a very friendly with its own unique identity. It still has a village feel and a strong community spirit. The other traders made us feel very welcome. We often refer our clients to other providers and they do the same for us.
‘The business is growing and we are taking on new people. There is no doubt that the move has worked out very well.’
The first thing that strikes you when you walk in is the clean, minimalist lines and muted shades of cool white and grey. A stylish vase in the corner was full of stunning white hydrangea. Catching my glance Tom smiled and said, ‘Grand Flowers of course.’
